Were you stuck in your
office while your friends and family were having fun this summer?
Many business owners feel
like, no matter how many hours they work, they can’t catch up.
5 Tips for Business
Owners
1. Make a list of all of
the tasks that you perform, by category.
Here are the categories:
- Administration
- Production
- Marketing
- Sales
2. Write down any tasks
that relate to each category.
3. Ask yourself which
tasks utilize your skills and expertise.
4. Next to all tasks that
utilize your skills and expertise put a P, for priority task.
5. Next to all tasks that
your would like to delegate, put a D.
There are many business services available that you can contract
with as needed or you may want to consider having an intern work
with you.
Follow these tips to determine if you are scheduling tasks that are
helping you reach your goals and freeing up time to work on your top
priorities.
Telephone Consultations
are a great alternative to an on-site visit! Here's what one single
mom, who works full time, had to say:
"Your organizing systems and selection of organizing products to
suit our needs has transformed our home from chaos to calm.
Working with us to identify where our time goes has been
invaluable in scheduling work and personal activities that
relate to our values."
Take time to smell the roses. Enjoy!
